Photography has always been one of my profound hobbies. It is something that I take great pride in and I am always open to words of improvement. Along with photography I also enjoy cars. I decided to take photos of beautiful cars and express my feelings towards them through my photographs. I grew up learning about cars and being intrigued by them from helping my dad or going to car shows. I particularly like older models because I think they have a more profound beauty and a telling story. One photo that I have taken great pride in is of the dashboard of an older Chevy car. The bright blue color of the car illuminates the photo and opens the eye. Every part of the dash tells a story. I really wanted to make this picture pop and intrigue others. I changed the composition and made it a tighter crop so it focuses more on the important details. Along with accentuating the blues I also bumped up the reds, blacks, and whites to make the picture more vibrant. When capturing the picture I tried to get a good angle so the beginning of the dash would pop out more to create a three dimensional effect. There are some aspects of the picture that I wish I could change such has the position of the hood but in a way they also add to the picture and the cars beauty. As I tried to create this same basic aspect in all my others photos this picture as with one other always seems to grab my attention. Something about the luminous colors and composition has made this one of the favorites. Capturing the small intricate details of the cars I think adds greater beauty to the overall aspect of them.
